This was created in pro tools using only the signal generator, and native mixer plugins e. G. Eq, delay etc.

A fun "whooshy" intro from a project never finished. Clocked around 150 bpm. Old project, not sure what that chord is and the end of the intro :).

Mono recording of a small cooking blender that, after some pitching and processing, i used as a layer for a robot's movement mechanism. Format: wav 48khz 24bit monogear: oktava mc 012 -> joemeek vc1qcs -> audiofuse interface.

A short loop, at about 54 bpm. Starting note is a b. Minor-ey, dusky, but clean sound. Finished it 10+ years ago and never did anything with it.

A bass made with one oscillator and drums from yamaha qy-10. Mixed in a noisy mixer. The qy-10 is also acting as sequencer. The bass sound is made on my modular. 101% analog. Including reverb and delay. Yep, now i have got a midi to cv module.

Had a short relaxing session with my modular. I wanted to use the "divide by 64" patch and make some generative sounds/music. I added some mixer feedback. This is a patch for 2 voices.

Sample is a clip from another song i just recorded. Created with effects pedals feeding back into each other. Effects used: behringer micro-mixer (used here as a "clean boost/volume effect), sirkut electronics gnarler, danelectro eq, boss xtortion, and boss metal zone, with various other fx sprinkled throughout. I used make noise function, doepfer a-147-2 cvlfo, doepfer a-148 sample and hold, doepfer a-110 vco, doepfer a-124 filter, alm tangle quartet vca and mixer, doepfer a-199 spring reverb, pittsburgh modular outs (mk. Ii) outmodule.

A casio pt-1 rhumba loop, 4 times and already cut loopable. Recorded with a yamaha 12xuk mixer. No fx applied. I made this because i needed it for a project and since i love this rhumba rhythm i like to share it. Around 60bmp.

Diy gate connector techno. My home made gate connector is fun to use for more then modular gate signals. Here we have a beat-ish in stereo. I use the gate connector as a poor mans stereo mixer. The sound is straight out from the modular.

Nice trick working with doepfer a-101-1 vactrol vcf. Noise to lp in. Gate to cvf in 1 out straight to mixer. Low frequency. High emph. Lp 0, bp about 5 and hp 0. Added a bass and my sampled voice. . .

A lot of texture! yeah! even analog modular synths can create texture. . . Well not much of a surprise but i'm getting somewhere. . . !. Have to note what i have done. 1. Modulating a full wave rectifier at audio rate. Fixed modulating frequency. 2. I mix my the output of my two osc and clockmy clock divider with that and take /2 to mixer. Reverb is space hole on my zoom ms-70cdr.

Lots of electrical noise. I got this sound using an aux cable from my laptop to a broken 3. 5mm to 5. 25mm adapter to my mixer. Noises were generated by my fingers scrubbing around the laptop's trackpad and clicking keys on the keyboard. Also my air conditioner is generating a constant noise. Every few minutes there is a neat glitchy sound, i'm guessing it's from some data being processed on the laptop. .

Originally made for the disquiet junto project 0433: "kit bits: create a kit’s worth of percussion samples. ". I used 1. Recordings with a telephone coil microphone recording sounds from an external blu ray drive and a smartphone (telephone coil recorded via behringer xenyx q1202 usb mixer, line-in) and 2. Random recordings from a soma ether device (recorded with zoom h1n, line-in). In these recordings i picked up those areas which i though to be useful for a drum kit, just as i would do it for myself. This track contains all samples in no special order in one file. All samples my own, released into cc0 public domain. Would be nice to hear if someone does something with it.
